Educación ambiental y sostenibilidad en los Institutos Superiores Tecnológicos Públicos de la región Amazonas, Perú

Resumen

La contaminación ambiental por acción antrópica y los efectos que ésta produce son cada vez mayores y ponen en riesgo la sostenibilidad social, económica y ambiental en todo el planeta. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el nivel de relación entre educación ambiental y la formación en sostenibilidad de estudiantes de Institutos Superiores Tecnológicos Públicos de la región Amazonas. La investigación fue de tipo básica de un nivel descriptivo-correlacional y de diseño no experimental. Se desarrolló mediante la aplicación de una encuesta en línea en el formulario de Google. Se discuten los resultados según la base de datos ScienceDirect y Google Scholar. Los datos recolectados fueron procesados y analizados mediante el software SPSS, Versión 25 y el programa ofimático Microsoft Excel 2019. Los resultados demostraron que el 34.7% de estudiantes presenta un nivel medio, tanto en educación ambiental como en formación en sostenibilidad; el 32.6% de los estudiantes presentan un nivel alto y un 10% presenta un nivel bajo. Concluyendo que existe dependencia entre las variables educación ambiental y formación en sostenibilidad, donde la fuerza de correlación positiva es alta, considerando que, al aplicar la prueba estadística no paramétrica Tau-b de Kendall, se obtuvo un valor de 0.790; p= 0.000 < 0.05.
