About the journal
Pakamuros is a scientific journal of open access and digital publication, edited by the Vice-Rectory of Research of the National University of Jaén (UNJ). Its editorial process includes peer review, and publishes original manuscripts in Spanish or English.
It is currently indexed in the Regional Online Information System for Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (Latindex 2.0).
Scope
Pakamuros is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes research articles in the areas of Engineering, Education and Health, prioritizing those contributions that present innovative approaches and significant contributions in science and technology.
The journal does not charge fees for submission, evaluation or publication of manuscripts.
Frequency of publication
Since 2020, Pakamuros publishes four issues per year: in March, June, September and December, with a minimum of 40 manuscripts per year.
The reception of manuscripts is open continuously throughout the year. Papers enter the evaluation process as soon as they are submitted, and those that are accepted are scheduled for publication in the next available issue.
Receipt of a manuscript does not guarantee its acceptance. Estimated review time ranges from 2 to 4 months, from receipt to final editorial decision.
