Estabilizadores de suelo a partir de ceniza de cáscara de arroz: Una revisión literaria

Los estabilizadores de suelos tradicionales, como el cemento y la cal, son caros y tienen un gran impacto ambiental, por lo que los ingenieros civiles necesitan encontrar urgentemente alternativas sostenibles. Las cenizas agroindustriales son un subproducto abundante y barato que resulta prometedor para mejorar los suelos con escasas cualidades geotécnicas. Este artículo pretende evaluar la eficacia del uso de las cenizas agroindustriales como la cáscara de arroz, como agentes estabilizadores mediante una revisión de la bibliografía. El objetivo es identificar los resultados de las investigaciones y resumir los conocimientos existentes sobre su impacto en las características mecánicas y físicas del suelo. Una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura sirve de base para el proceso. Para encontrar publicaciones pertinentes, se realizó una búsqueda sistemática utilizando palabras clave y criterios de inclusión/exclusión en bases de datos científicas como SciELO y Scopus. Para compilar el estado del arte sobre el tema, se examinaron y combinaron minuciosamente los datos extraídos de las investigaciones seleccionadas.
